Aspartame is a very toxic chemical sugar substitute. Along with fluoride in our water supply, it has a cumulative effect of dumbing down our population to then become politically docile.

Aspartame unlabeled in your supermarket

Like genetically modified ingredients, it is in such widespread use (and due to a similar political green light) that aspartame now finds itself in about 7,000 commonly processed foods in America. Again like Monsanto’s GMO or genetically modified ingredients, aspartame is intentionally not labeled. Political and economic interests (represented by mainstream media) want to keep us, the general public, in the dark.
What has aspartame in it?

Popular soft drinks, chewing gums, candies, gelatins, dessert mixes, puddings, yogurts, meal sweeteners, and several pharmaceutical drugs and vitamins all contain aspartame.
Aspartame is an unnatural chemical sweetener with major side-effects

Being a synthetic/artificial chemical, studies have linked aspartame to many so-called “side effects” which are really main effects. These include nerve and brain degeneration (even leading to four types of seizure, coma, and death) plus a variety of cancers.
Aspartame was originally banned

Before political pressure won the day, the FDA published a exhaustive warning list of 92 aspartame poisoning symptoms. In 1980 the FDA’s Board of Inquiry declared aspartame to be too toxic and harmful for human consumption. Previously the FDA had steadfast banned the substance for 16 years. Animal studies showed repeatedly that aspartame caused brain damage and cancer. The Delaney Amendment made it illegal to allow a known carcinogen to be placed into the common food supply. The substance was rightly and one would think, forever, banned. But powerful political forces held sway. They went far above the heads of ethical and conscientious scientists. There was simply far too much money to be made (billions), and at the public’s expense and health.

Super corrupt politics won the day

At the time, guess who owned aspartame’s patent? It was a company named J D Searle and its head honcho was none other than Donald Rumsfeld (later Secretary of Defense under Gerald Ford). Rumsfeld, promoting his company, called in his political chips.

On January 21, 1981, the very day after Reagan took office, Searle petitioned the FDA for aspartame’s approval. Reagon’s new FDA commissioner, Arthur Hayes Hull, then set up at lightening speed a new 5-person Scientific Commission to overturn the prior board’s banning. The panel still had some sanity and ethics and wanted to uphold the ban by a 3-2 decision. But Hull fixed that by installing a sixth member for a deadlock. He then broke this deadlock with his vote, allowing the lethal curse of aspartame to be released upon the general public.

Hull later called in his chips. He left the FDA and served profitably in a position for Burston-Marsteller, the chief public relations (disinformation) firm for Monsanto and JD Searles. In 1985, JD Searle was bought by Monsanto. Rumsfeld made his financial killing.

What is aspartame?

Aspartame is an synthetic chemical sweetener sold under the brand names NutraSweet and AminoSweet. Aspartame, being a chemical concentrate, is far sweeter than table sugar. Thus tiny amounts can be used in processed foods to cut costs, and to cut calories when included in a diet. Thus aspartame is found in non-organic diet products and diet plans (such as Weight Watchers).
How toxic and dangerous is it?

Aspartame contains aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and methanol. These break down into toxic chemicals such as formaldehyde, a known carcinogen used to embalm dead bodies. Methanol is gradually released in the small intestine when aspartame meets up with the enzyme chymotrypsin. Methanol is a deadly poison. It is known to cause liver, brain, and eyesight damage. Extended exposure is fatal.

Aspartame studies

Many studies have revealed the huge harms of using aspartame. Among them:

Ramazzine Foundation’s study showed aspartame increased the risk of lymphoma, leukemia and breast cancers
European Journal of Clinical Nutrition published a study where aspartame disrupted nerve signaling, leading to disabling or lethal damage to nerve cells
University of Florida study found aspartame was correlated with an increase in increase in migraines

Searles’ own human studies. They were never made public because they showed aspartame destroyed the central nervous system. The victims suffered seizures and brain tumors within 18 months.

Whistleblower drowned out

In 1984 Dr. James Bowen announced on CBS Evening news tthat aspartame was too dangerous to ingest. His voice was soon drowned out by official pronouncements of its complete safety. Writes Dr. Bowen:
“I was one of only two independent scientists, who ever read the original aspartame toxicity studies from FDA files. They were done at only 1/1000th the legally requisite dose. In that minuscule dosage the rat brain cancer was the worst ever caused by any chemical ever tested at any dosage! When they marketed aspartame for soft drinks in 1983, the next six months saw a 10% jump in the US brain tumor rate, and also a 30% jump in the incidence of new cases of diabetes.”

FDA’s justifications were beyond belief

In a monkey feeding study actually cited by the FDA in approving aspartame, five out of the 7 infant monkeys tested had grand mal seizures and one died.
